Our story is one rooted in a dogged interest in implementing technology solutions within the energy space.

August 2016

The company commenced business operations as a petroleum marketing & logistics company in Nigeria under the name “Cydene Energy Services Limited“.

January 2017

The company expanded operations into retailing and fleet management.

April 2017

Cydene Supply establishes bulk product storage agreement and License operations with Techno Oil Limited.

July 2018

Cydene Supply establishes itself as a marketer of Vitol S.A products and begins terminal Supplies within Nigeria.

October 2018

The company acquired majority stake in an IT & Cloud Solutions startup, later rebranded Cydene Data Solutions Limited as Cydene’s technical management of Cydene Express.

May 2021

The company rolled MVPs of both User & Merchant interface for Cydene Express.

September 2021

Cydene Data Solution (CDS) concludes Microfinance License Agreements to regulate Cydene Express finance operations.

July 2022

Cydene Data Solutions (CDS) officially launches On-demand Diesel, Electricity & Cooking Gas delivery Application.

October 2022

Cydene Data Solutions (CDS) includes Bill Payments API & Gas Station Point of Sale Payments into Cydene Express offerings.
